Danny Marrs was born and raised in Boissevain, Virginia, where he played with his family gospel band from age 5 until 1989 when he moved to Conway, SC.  He played upright bass and sang harmony parts with his family.  Danny now lives in Conway SC with his wife Julie and their children Alex and Madison.  Danny plays mandolin and sings baritone, lead and tenor parts for the Kinsmen.  His family attends Fountain of Life Ministries in Conway, SC.
