The Kinsmen

The Kinsmen from Conway, SC consist of five members, Lynn Jordan sings tenor, some lead and plays the rhythm guitar.  Emory Brown plays lead guitar.  Jesse Jones sings lead vocals.  David Cooper plays the upright bass.  Danny Marrs sings baritone, some lead vocals and plays the mandolin. 

Their sound has been described as smooth gospel harmonies, influenced by bluegrass with an old southern style of gospel music, with an emphasis on the gospel message.  Most of their original music is written by David, Lynn and Jesse.  They sing mostly in the northeast section of coastal South Carolina and in the southeast section of North Carolina.

Our main goal is to be an instrument, in God's hands, spreading His word through songs, that souls may be saved and hearts blessed.
